Biography
Jarrell Donte Butler was born in Omaha, NE and raised in Charlotte, NC. Known affectionately as the witty guy with
the perfect teeth and infectious smile, Jarrell has had an interest in the entertainment industry since the age of 12. A graduate
of Providence High School with honors, Jarrell completed 3 years of theater and participated in several school theatrical performances
including a script he wrote for an anti-bullying campaign. Jarrell served as anchor, editor and producer of the high school news show.
He also landed a role as Master of Ceremonies for the school variety show. Upon graduation Jarrell was accepted to Howard University
in Washington, DC on an academic scholarship where he now studies Communications with a focus on Radio, TV and Film. He is currently
a radio personality on Howard’s Radio Station, WHBC. Jarrell was featured as a civil rights activist in “Blood Done Sign My Name”
and as a police officer in “Insignificant Others”. He has also been featured as a college student in an Internet based commercial
for Crubu, a charitable fundraising organization. Jarrell enjoys philanthropic efforts and has been a volunteer and mentor for
the YMCA since he was 14. A well rounded, young man, Jarrell is also an accomplished runway and spokes model. Focused, driven, and
full of life; Jarrell seeks roles that allow him to utilize his creativity, wit and serving spirit…roles that challenge and inspire.
